    KM-C3232 C2500 error

Has anyone had issues with this error? It's for MP motor, which the customer is not using the MP tray and the machine is only 3-4 months old. The code resets ok and there dosen't appear to be any problems with the MP drive system. Any thoughts?

    It's a KM-C3232E

    Bent Pins/Loose Connectors?

I have only dug into one of these in class, but I recall that it was mechanically pretty unusual for a bypass tray.

I think I'd start out by pulling th MPT and re-seating every connector I could find, especially the motor, and where it connects to the controller.
I'm sure you already turned through by hand to feel for any excessive resistance/drag on the drive. If I recall correctly there are lift cams that use the same drive. It took me a few tries to get that reassembled so it would work.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
