Kyocera Mita FS-1018MFP Firmware update

Hello everybody,
we have Kyocera Mita FS-1018MFP with System firmware: 2DD_2000.001.044 and
Engine firmware: 2DD_1000.001.031
Currently we use "KMnet Viewer 5.2.1928" to upgrade firmware.
In this case we have Machine firmware: S2DD_2000.002.006 and Printing system firmware: S2DD_2000.E03.003
My question is whats files must sеlect from firmware upgrade wizzard window?

You'll have to use a compact flash card to upgrade firmware on this model.

thank you for quick respond. I know for this procedure from Service Manual and i think it is possible to make with KNnet viewer.

Never tried it with KMNetviewer, and I don't think it's possible, but the files/folders you need are :

Folders

NANDinstall: NAND side Install command group

NORinstall: NOR side Install command group



Files

Initrd: Initialization processing file

PPCBoot: Boot program

RootDiskImage.jffs2: Controller program

SetupDiskImage.jffs2: Controller program setting file

VERDEF: Configuration file

zImage.kmmfp: Kernel program

I find it always a bit tricky when updating the firmware using a network connection. If the connection for one moment fails you could be in real trouble.

I have these files/folders.
But i don't know which of the files should be select.
In KMnet viewer firmware update window have place for only one file.

I think that's the reason why you can't update using KMNetviewer. I would buy a CF-Card with a CF-reader/writer.

Today will order Compact flash card and execute procedure from Service manual.

Hi. Where I can find the Firmware files? The only site with files and manual is Centro de soporte | Soporte | Kyocera and there is not Firmware files, only .BIN files
