    KM-8030 starving DV unit

We've checked it before, DV unit seems fine and after switching toner it replenished OK. A week later the problem returns, anyone got tips on what to look for?

Machine has about 600K, but may have more due to the source it came from...

Have you updated the firmware? There may be a fix in there...

I had a new Harrier out of the box that would not add toner in sim U130. If you pull the right side upper cover you can see the coupler mechanism in action. On my machine the bore of the coupler was a little too snug, and the spring would not provide adequate return. I used a small diamond half-round file to open up the bore a little. When it returned smoothly I added a touch of grease and re-assembled. Maybe that will help you. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for the replies, will check the coupler theory -hopefully that's it. No firmware access, already have the manual Paul, thanks anyway
