    KM-C3225,specs in solid areas

I've come accross a problem on a KM-C3225 copier. When printing to the copier, envelopes, the heavy black letterhead like return address has spects or lite dots in bold print. When I make copies of a test chart onto a envelope the blacks are solid. I should also mention that the envelopes are printed in the full color mode, and the test samples were in black only. Thanks for help, Ric

I'm not terribly surprised. Have you ever had a double feed and the image appeared to have poor transfer? That's because additional transfer is required for thicker (read: double layers) of paper.

With envelopes there are areas with 2, 3, and sometimes 4 layers of paper. How do you compensate with transfer voltage when the thickness of the paper varies?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
