    Is the DP-710 unplugged?

Warning: Power must be off at the main switch on the right side, before re-connecting the accessory. Plugging in an accessory live is a great way to blow a board or corrupt the firmware.

Or the original lift plate spring might be broken. I've seen both. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks blackcat,i'll try those options and see because it doesn't have a DP attached to it, only plattern cover

Sorry. The only time I've seen the "Please Wait." it was related to the DP. =^..^=

Does the display always stay in Please Wait? Does the Engine turn on the motors like it is warming up? I have two thoughts at the present, 1. HDD 2. Firmware. Not necessarily in that order. Good luck, let us know what fixes it.
