The only thing to do is to replace the main board.

You can use the ResetLan.exe for Kyocera.
Just pick the printer/mfp as default printer and open the exe.
It uses the printing queue, and sends a file.
You need to add it over ip adress not usb.
Has helped me often to reset all the admin passwords for many different Kyocera printers.

                      Dear all,

I misconfigured the ip filter, so i am locked out to access the printer. No access via Command Center. As far as what I found out, there is no local access to the Command Center, which also means that resetting the whole printer is not possible via USB.

ResetLan.exe did not work for me. Or might I have done anything wrong?

It is a Kyocera 5350DN KX.
It would be great if anyone could help me or has an idea what to do!

                      Best,
                      Dennis

                        Hi Dennis,

                        you try this command

                        echo !R! KSUS "AUIO","RESET:0"; EXIT;>lpt1

Connect the printer via usb cable and use the "net use" command to capture the usb port to lpt1. Then send the command to the printer. There is a possibility to restore all the printer device settings with this command. So I suggest you to print Status Page, Network Status Page before the command.

I hope that you will solve your problem.

                        Harris

Can someone advise what procedure for admin00 reset on fs1135? I tried a prescribe command from another thread.

                              !R! KSUS "AUIO", "CUSTOM:Admin Password = 'admin00'";EXIT;

It seemed to work at the FTP command prompt, but still not taking admin00
