[Error Code] Kyocera Taskalfa 820 shows jam

Hey everyone, I have just switched jobs and I now work for a Kyocera dealer. Small problem is that I have never worked on a Kyocera before (32 years with Lanier/Ricoh/Riso/HP) and although I am not going to be a field tech in my new position, they are shorthanded right now so I am trying to fix a machine in the shop.
Have a model 820 that shows a paper jam on the right side with a jam code of 00 on the control panel. All switches in transport area (up the right side) test good. The machine shows the following sensors as on in the sensor check screen: PE switches SW1,2,3,4; LIM Sw4, and Feed-E-1 Sw. Do not have access to the books yet, they haven't gotten that far with my new guy indoctranation so I am looking for help from the Forum. Thanks, Mark

j00 always means jam at power up. The actuator on one of those verticle transport switches is out of place

Agreed. One of those verical path switches has probably gotten dislodged from it's mount, or the actuator is stuck. It's very common on Harrier and Harrier1 machines. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Problem solved. Found tray 4 paper feed unit not latched and plugged in all the way. Switch check screen said feed e-1 switch was on and limit sensor was off. After reseating the unit all sensors are normal and machine works great. thank you for all your help, hope this helps someone someday.
