You could also try the dev unit clutch, have had very similar faults on other konica minoltas. Cheers

Check the spring and the contact of the transfer roller.

Have you done a thorough cleaning of the optics and slit glass? These machines have known issues with ozone buildup on the mirror surfaces. Clean with 99% alcohol. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've seen toner buildup on the heat roller in the fuser which often leads to fumes up onto the optics...but if you've gone thru the machine looking at stuff I'm sure you would have noticed a problem like this

BlackCat hit the nail on the head with that model being historically bad about hazing on the mirrors.. The lightness I've always seen from that family of machines was mostly in the middle area of the optical mirrors.. So the middle of the optics was more covered in haze more than the two ends were..

First of all.. I suppose we need to rule out some things so we can all be thinkin about solutions to the same problem..
-- Cut your machine in half by copying and then printing something from the unit.. If it is good on 1st print but light on rest of the prints, then you know it is within the engine of the machine and not in the top half of the machine.. So that would rule out your optical components..
-- If it good on all prints, but light on all copies after the first one, then you know you are dealing with something in the optical section..

I'm guessing you will be having the problem during printing & copying which means something within the engine..
If so.. Are you using OEM toner or Compatible toner..? I have had light image issues before that were resolved with the use of OEM toner..
Also... What type of location / environment is the machine operating in..?

              Good Luck..

Pure genius ... and billable. It's a good thing this machine is monocomponent. =^..^=

Another fine example of why a lot of guys on here refuse to give out service manuals to just anyone who asks for it.. Somewhere down the line, it will usually cause trouble for the certified technician that has to go decipher the screwup and try to fix the issues caused by the unknowing person..

Glad ya got it goin bud..
