I have a DP-750 on a Kyocera 300ci. The MFP is current on FW. The DP itself is having an issue raising all the way to feed through the jobs. You can apply light pressure on the top cover and the tray will lift and feed. You can then do the same job and it will lift all the way and feed properly. It does this randomly, but again apply slight pressure it continues to raise and work fine. Give me some fellow techs?

Re: Document Processor, DP-750
Three possibilities:
1) a paper clip or small scrap of paper has dropped into the photointerrupter that monitors the movement of the lift plate
2) the spring that provides the lift may be broken (but it would not feed at all)
3) the post that the top cover latches to may be broken.
What jam codes? If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Document Processor, DP-750
Check the "holder LF" Thats the plastic frame that the feed pulley is attached to. The top front center clip/latch brakes causing the assembly to come down too far . This causes the flag on the holder not to properly activate the pressure sensor.
