Anybody know the part number for this item? Mylar in front of separation roller, Deck 2 (left side tandem feed). Can't locate in PG.separation_mylar_infeed.jpg
Maybe not a spared part.
The CS-820 manual has part numbers for several items that never got part numbers in the CS-8030 manual. Not all are identical, but many are. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Also, just to let ya know.. The left side mylar and right side mylar are 2 different part #'s.. They look pretty close to same but are different numbers..
well...since I'll be needing it and don't have the CS parts guide...got the part number for the right side mylar (Deck1)?
Also, this drum is pushing 1mil. I assume it will require cleaning at some point to lengthen its life, got any tips or part numbers for cleaning powder etc? Been ages since I cleaned an ASi drum.
The part# that Zackuth gave you is different from what I have in mine, but it is same part..
My resource lists :
Right Side Deck #1 -- 302FB09410 -- Film Feed C
Left Side Deck #2 -- 302FB09360 -- Film Feed B
As far as the drums go..
Kyocera rates the drums at 3.6 million copies (CS-6030) and 4.8 million copies (CS-8030), so ya still got a while to go.. LOL.. IF you need to clean the drum, they recommend using a dry clean cloth..
I have some of these in the field that have over 4 million copies on them and still using the original drum.. The recommended maint. cycle on them is 500k.. If you perform a full pm on em at those intervals, ya shouldn't have too much of a problem.. Within the maint. kits is included a "cleaning unit ass'y".. If maint. kits are done regularly, there shouldn't much need in having to clean or dust the drums.. At least I haven't had to with mine..
BTW -- Be careful when handling drum.. Last I checked, they were around 1,004.00 from Kyocera..
Good info, thanks. This one's been running well 'cept for having to replace the developer unit (would starve itself and not add toner for some reason) and the motor/fuser drive unit issue. Might have to get some more out in the field if I can find good deals on toner and quicker parts source than PR. Thanks all for your help.

Hope it helps,

Just a Tech, the numbers from the 6030/8030 cross to the new numbers given in the 620/820 part list. The mylars have been completely redesigned and now do not look alike. The new work just fine in the old style machines.
As far as drums go, I never messed with one unless there was a problem.
