    [CQ] IMAGE QUALITY PROBLEM IN TASKALFA 300Ci

    hi guys,
    a taskalfa300ci machine -crossed 150000 prints giving some image problem.....please see the attached image......

    only magenta color will smudge on particular place... i changed the laser,drum,dev,transfer units.... no result....

    any solution please......

      Either laser or image processing, and you've ruled out the laser. When I get a look at the manual I'll try to determine where the U410 patterns are generated. Either Main or Engine PWB, neither cheap. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Check that the filters are in all the way on top of the dev units, they can contact the transfer belt underneath and smear toner

                  i will check this filter issue and i will update the status ....thanks for new idea.... black cat, i am going to replace the pcb also.....let we see,what should be the reason.....

                      I have 2 units having the same issue 500ci and 300ci. Checked the dev filters,optics,IT belt, drum units can't find a solution. Updated firmware in desperation to no avail.

                          I returned to the 500ci with our Kyocera Regional Rep today to hopefully cure this issue. We took all units out, devs,drums, IT and laser units. Vacuumed dev filters making sure they sat flat, cleaned laser slit glass with alchool making sure there was no residue left behind, cleaned out the cavity (vacuum and wiped) put it all back together and voila copies came back,crisp and clear no more smear Gonna go to my 300ci later this week and try doing the same minus the laser just to compare results. will re-post results ASAP.

                              Returned to this unit to vacuum dev units/filters to see the result-no change. I didn't have time to do the laser and this client is a big account so sales decided that L4L is required meaning autopsy will be done back at the shop

                                  Almost we changed every part related to image processing and conveying unit one by one... no result....but once we interchanged the magenta drum and developing unit at a time from a near by machine,both the machines are working good up to today ....Tomorrow i am going there for a casual visit... i will update the status.....
