I have a brand new taskalfa 6500i that keeps getting a F186 code i have already replaced main, engine, ribbon cable, and hard drives and this code still persist. It says it's a communication error and have checked and changed everything the manual has said to. Any suggestions.

Re: F186
What happens if you disconnect the network cable, then boot up?
What happens when you connect to your laptop via crossover cable?
This is the description I have: Print Unit: DVU_PRT_SYSERR_F226_ERROR (Video data flushing error).
Two things I get from that:
Possible bad image memory
Possible corrupt print data, or non-print data reaching the print card.
Of course, you updated the firmware. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: F186
Thx for tips guys.
For blackcat: It doesn't matter if network cable is connected or not, same issue. You get a single blank page and than F186 if you try to print anything (status page, event log, etc). I've found the bulletin kkendric mentioned for TA 6500i: 2LH-008.pdf though i don't think it could be applied in my case on FS-6525MFP.
Didn't have much time today to deal with this, will deal with it tomorrow and update how it went.Comment
