    Black copy with TA-520i

    Hi all,
I have black copy and prints with TA-520i. The problem is not all time. It's random problem. I check main charge and all HV contacts. I need a solution please. Thx.

It's going to be something related to primary charge. How about replacing the primary charge unit, and if it returns HVT? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Check the grounding tabs to the transfer roller on the left side door. If they are bent you can get strange black bands sometimes covering the entire page.

unplug cleaning motor from corona charger, remove grid by removing one screw, take off small metalic shaped wire, most of the time making bad contact with charger unit. Put back grid and leave unpluged cleaning motor.

I was wondering if this problem came back after you replaced the MC Corona.
A colleague of mine had exactly the same issue when he did a PM. Then he put the old MC Corona back and the problem went away.
The problem just came back and the call got assigned to me. Before heading out there thought to check the forum.

                    Thanks!

Update; replaced the MC Corona and the problem got fixed. Was able to recreate the problem with the old MC Corona. The problem hasn't come back.

It was not the corona problem cause printing was OK only copy get black. In my case it's was the scanner PWB.
