Firmware update doesnt seem to do anything!

    Morning all.
I have a Taskalfa 400 ci that I have doen a firmware update on after installing a new transfer belt in order to clear a C2700 error. The printer appears to load the Firmware update ok, however when I rebbot the printer nothing appears to have changed as I still get the C2700 error any help suggestion would be more than welcome. (apart from buying a manual that always seems to pop up whenever I put something on this board).

That would be a color release motor error...which is in the transfer belt...and can only be replaced by installing a transfer belt...what I would do is order another transfer belt and replace it again....and send that bad one that they sent you for the machine...I have had this happen before....put in a brand new belt and get this error....

So you want the expertise of the experts on this board to give you advice but you're too cheap to buy a manual. Sad.

I have purchased another brand new transfer belt and replaced it in the machine. However this doesnt clear the error. Is there something else that I need to do as I update the firmware it all apears to update fine, however when I attemp to turn the power button off on the control button prior to removal of the power leads the power button appears not to function. I there anything that I need to do from in service mode!

checked this again this mroning and sure enough a pin had become displaced (printer side). SS12 many thanks for your time and help truly appreciated along with all the other who took the time to read and post suggestions.
