KM-4035 with error C6410 from new fuser

Installed new fuser and get C6410 (fuser Unit connection error). Connector initially appeared not in place at top. Also there was one wire from connector pinched from being lodged under metal hot roller bracket. Corrected both problem and executed 163 reset but still get error. Did continuity testing on wires and appeared okay. Before I swap connector or other components wanted to check with an expert. Please advise. Your help is always greatly appreciated. Another wire on rear end pinched under metal fuser roller frame. After freeing up and taping machine went into ready. Frank
