    FSC8025 scanning issue

I have an issue with FSC8025, which seems to be duplicating the scans. The SMB path is \\server\scans\username. It's putting the image in the user name folder, but also a copy in the scans folder. Have recreated the address, upgraded the firmware, still the same.

    Any Ideas?

I suppose you could install SFU and scan as FTP as a workaround.

I set up to scan to a local machine on the same network, and it's OK, but not on the server. This is weird

I don't know how pertinent this is, but if you have 10 sub-folders named "scans" each within separate differently named folders, you'll get a copy of the scan in each and every "scans" folder. I discovered it at a lawyers office who wanted this elaborate folder structure for each client. If the sub-folder structure was the same, we ended up with many multiple copies of the scan. The spur of the moment solution was to slightly alter each sub-folder structure. For example: Addressbook entry #1 went to \\server\Share\ABC Manufacturing\Lawsuits\scan1. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

re created the address book, after backing it up failed. That sorted it. But found the account used locked. Anyway when that was sorted it worked fine. Not sure what the issue really was in the end. Thanks for any advise
