    Kyocera FS-C2626MFP : won't print black

someone called us up with a FS-C2626MFP that won't print black. I believe this was going on and then they tried changing the toner and it didn't help. I believe the other colors are ok.

we haven't looked at it yet. I saw something about a gear breaking on another thread that would effect print quality (might have been a different Kyocera C2126 maybe).

Could be a bad connection of the Development Unit or Drum Unit. Try reseating them.

Send someone else on the call, then don't answer the phone........
        Hope that helps !

If I was you I'd search for one of the dozens of posts about the Gemini updates, like this one:

          =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

            lol.

probably reseating the toner did the trick...they called back a little later saying the guy they got the toner from took care of it. I assume that means they were using some sort of refills or something.
