    Hi


    I'm Canon tech and i'm not familiar with this brand so i need advice from Kyo. guru. Document feeder won't detect originals any more.I already inspect regular issues.Before i start changing sensors is it possible by any chance turn off auto feeder with keyboard?

      This series had/has error problems with the document processor. In the past they would error out, (C0410), communication error with Doc pricessor and main board. there were several bulletins and fixes including replacing processor board. All reepairs delt with grounding issues. First get into service mode and do a 906 to reset any devices that may have been disabled due to errors. If that restores operation you should be ok until a large static charge strikes again. This problem occurs mostly in the winter, heated offices, no humidity, 30% or less someone walking accross a carpet building up a static charge placed documents in feeder, zap loss of data from Feeder to main board, hope this helps.

          Thanks a lot. I got part catalog without feeder parts!? Have Kyocera separated parts manual for feeder?? Need part number for processor board.Thanks again kkendric.

              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                          Yes, replace the harness first. Lifting the feeder up and down or pushing the machine up tight against the wall will sometimes break a wire. Harness part # is 3HK27020

                                  Don't replace harness for c0410. That is definitely the board which was updated for this code.
