    [Misc] Km-5050 random offline

Has anyone seen this issue? Have a km-5050 that randomly goes offline and will not print. Whenever we show up to troubleshoot, the problem is not present, making it more difficult to figure out. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hook up your power quality analyzer.

On the specific occasion that I'm thinking of, a huge 440vac electric crane would brown out the specific circuit that the CS-5050 was on. Mostly due to luck, that particular outlet was already wired directly to a large distribution panel. It was very easy to select a different source. Do I still have that PQA analysis?

Sorry can't find it. Anyway, once the power had been mainly restored the network would reconnect within 20 minutes. Depending on how much they used the crane that day, would regulate whether the customer could print or not. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

How is the customer getting the machine back online. cycling power, unplugging the network cable or what?

Client says it goes back online by itself. It could go offline 15 minutes, or 40 minutes, then goes back online by itself according to client.
Thank you for check the power suggestion. The outlet is not dedicated and copier has been in place for almost 3 years.
When I first delivered it, there was a little fluctuation of maybe 4 volts. We will keep an eye on it to make sure it is not worse than before.
We were also thinking an IP conflict, but still need to be tested as well.
We ended up hiring out to resolve this. When we get it resolved, I will come back to update the result.
          Have a great day.

SNMP is the protocol that would take it offline. Disable it in the ports setting on the driver & it won't know if it's unavailable.
            Hope that helps !

              I agree with Tony above.

9/10 times it's SMNP, IP conflict or a hardware issue i.e. kinked cable, 5 port switch dying, etc
