I've got a week old TaskAlfa 4501i that was giving me intervals of C0640 and F357 error codes. After speaking with Kyocera tech support they told me to upgrade firmware, reseat memory DIMMs and reseat the HDD. After doing all these, to no avail, they finally told to run a U024 which initializes the HDD. After doing so the machine came back up with an F345 code. Tech support has had me redo firmware, try individually install firmware, all to no avail. Has anyone seen something like this and if so do they have any advice?

Re: Kyocera TaskAlfa 4501i Error Code
I'd have changed the HDD by now.
C0640: HDD failure
CF35x: An error is detected at the Print control section. 1) Reformat HDD U024 FULL; 2) Initialize backup memory U021; 3) Repl main PWB; 4) Repl HDD;
CF34x: An error is detected at the Panel management section. 1) Reseat connectors: main PWB-YC12, YC17, YC30; Op Panel-YC1 YC2, YC3; 2) Reformat HDD U024 FULL; 3) Initialize backup memory U021; 4) Repl Op panel PWB; 5) Repl main PWB;
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Kyocera TaskAlfa 4501i Error Code
Hello,
Was there any resolution to this F345 error code? Experiencing "F345" error code on the 3252ci Kyocera. Customer was getting a white screen in the morning. updated firmware and then started getting F345 error code in the morning. The customer has to shut the device down and turn it back on and it will work ok.(there were a lot of other weird things going on such as power inconsistencies and paper jams about 3 other error codes, but these were resolved either from what we tried below or by switching the power to a new outlet. This device is in a large commercial building with high security and for whatever reason it is hard to find the electrical schematics. customer was also pulling the plug of the machine to fresolve the white screen in the morning rather than using the rocker switch which COULD have caused more problems as well) At some point through the evening, the machine gets the F345 error code while it is sitting overnight.
Tried to reload the firmware. reformatted hard drive (while reformatting hard drive could not complete backup because the files pulled from hard drive were corrupt. Had to manually re-configure unit for client. Reseated DIMMS and connector units. Replaced the main PWB. Still receiving F345 error every morning.
Per Kyocera tech support, the F345 error code is not in the service manual. Hard to believe that Kyocera tech support has not heard of this code?I am trying to do my due diligence versus just throwing parts at the machine.
Thank you kindly,

Re: Kyocera TaskAlfa 4501i Error Code
why is this so much like the iR ADV 2nd gen?
1. error code corresponding to HDD, change the HDD
2. screen freezing on start up, change the HDD
atleast Kyocera HDD is your normal mobile HDD.Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.Comment
