Re: COPYSTAR CS-300i
Don't just shoot in the dark. Once you've done that U906 reset, print the error log U000.
If the code pops up before you get the print ... well there you go.
Or, you could go to sim U904 to see what codes have been stored. Especially pay attention to the C8xxx codes. Those are the finisher codes. This information was available in your service manual. Then you can diagnose it just like a real copier tech. Open your manual and look it up.

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Isn't it obvious? The lift motor is part of the finisher. The proximity of a new part will probably cure the stapler. That's why he didn't change the feed tires: too far away. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

I wonder if there is a point for kids to go to technical colleges to actually learn something. Or they will solely rely on the vast data availability online.
