    Kyocera FS 3900 printer

Don't know Kyocera that well but don't want to
    turn away a new customer.

Customer called and said printer is locked up and
message on display "paper loading". I found the
service manual and didn't see anything in there
    about this message.

    Any help appreciated
    TIA

Could it be something like "Load Paper"? Maybe you ought to go out there and look for your self? Endusers have a way of confusing very simple screen messages. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yea I guess I will have to wander on out there to see what is going on. Was trying to save driving 80 miles round trip if it was a common problem. I spent time on phone "interviewing" this new customer trying to get as much info as possible, especially with a machine not that familiar with. The only thing theycould tell me is machine was locked up and "paper loading" message on display. Said it had been doing this intermittently for about a month but was able to clear and use for a few days then it happen again. Now will not reset at all. Had them unplug power cord and plug back in. Did not help.

The thing that threw me off was "Paper loading". I did not see that message in the manual or googling it. Hoping it was something simple that a Kyocera tech could tell me what it is.

      Thanks again

I left unplugged for around 20 mins. Plugged back in and it worked. So far so good.

What was the actual display message? =^..^=

FS 3900... its coming to me... If this is an old machime.
I believe the problem may be the big turn around rollers under the bypass tray.
I did a running feild repair by layering insulation tape on the shaft to build the rollers bigger
and they no longer slipped intermittant on the shaft during paper feed cycle.
