    General Falcon engine question

Ok so I have seen this little filter that is taped to the dv unit when it comes in a maint kit. Where does this guy go I have looked in the parts book but well there are only so many filters and this one does not show up in the pdf search.

    Thanks,

    Scott

Sounds like the filter that goes into the top of the DV unit. Long and narrow, black plastic with white filter material?

That sounds like the sponge that would be used to seal the open toner port of the old unit. It also has a white/yellow tape in there to tape the sponge to the hole. It's used to keep the old unit from spilling toner everywhere after it has been removed.

Wow, to think we used to actually have PM kits!!

One box, one part number brought your copier from zero to hero in 45 minutes.

Sure made refurbing machines a lot easier.

Konica Minolta refurbs are a crap shoot....a long, tedious crap shoot.
