    deactivate card authentication kit (B)

    Hello, i got a TASKalfa 3500i with the optional card authentication kit(B) installed and activated but with no card reader, i do not need this fuction at all, the machine works fine but there is a persistent message telling that there is not id card reader and i cant deactivate it. How can I unistall the authetication kit sofware in the machine?
    Thanks.
    (I tried sytem - optional function and shows that it is runnig but no button to stop or uninstall, and the sim for key counter/key card is off))

      I have the same problem on a machine and was wondering the same thing.

          Use firmware ver. 04.00.0031 to reset

              I have used used sim 221 usb host lock enabled to remove the message would need to sw off to upload firmware from usb flash

                      System Menu>system>optional function>disable card reader

                              I have tried to remove the kit a few times but I think that once activated it is embedded on the main pcb and only replacement of this will sort the issue.
