    [CQ] Fs-c5250dn

    hi,

i have been asked to look at a Kyocera-Fs-c5250dn with intermittent CQ of Magenta Hue all over the print intermittently. The machine has approx 16k mono and about 16k Colour prints done. I suspect there is an issue with the Magenta drum or Dev leaking, however, I have zero time spent on these machines. Is there a part number just for a colour drum or dev? Or according to our service, we have to order a full Maintenance Kit which costs more than the machine???

    Any help would be appreciated..

      hi,

tks for the reply, its just over 2 yrs old, not sure if we can get a warranty on the drum/dev as its very low volume.

Ill see if i can get a drum/dev, seemed to have been lumbered with this one from another tech.

If i can get one, ill attempt to change both, just need to find out how now

      tks

They warranty the Drum and DV for 3 years per TB1.

BTW those part numbers are for the 120 volt units.

This is the same engine as the lovely little FS-C2126MFP. Knowing that, I'd look at bulletin #3 & the case spacers in bulletin #4. Sounds like high voltage leaking.
              Hope that helps !
