[Dead] Muratec mfx-1200 "please call service"

Says "please call service" and alarm message is on, scanner moves left to right then back again at power on but lamp never comes on, not sure if it is supposed to or not, checked lamp no continuity, bad lamp ? not sure if those type of lamps are supposed to show continuity or not ?

Looks like I have a fuser melt down, heat and press roller are melted together, thermostat is blown, thermistor is melted to heat roller.

Did the machine display "PLEASE" call service or just call for service? You can press P, *, 6, right arrow one time to 'service call' and press Enter. If it's a fuser error, you'll see it there. If it says "Service call: 0", then it may be an issue with the scanner assembly.

It is fixed, had to replace the entire fuser assy.
