    [Misc] Ir adv 5051 fuser problem

    I have an image runner 5051 ,done 90k.The problem is the fuser bangs from the pressure roller being racked in continuously,It stops when mc comes to a standby condition,then starts continuously when copy start key/print is pressed.The paper prefeeds ,but mc just bangs,no error code is displayed,

      Pull out that fuser and inspect it.

      The only issue I had so far was some noise coming from the fuser.

      I replace the fixing film unit. Quite expensive part!

          There is a new fuser that just came out for noise. i haven't had a problem with these yet.
