    Okidata B6300N Printer

Usually Oki's will reset the fuser counter using a resistor on the unit, that blows when the reset is complete. This counter did not reset ...

... so I look in the manual. There is a diagnostic mode to clear supply counters. Great! The only problem is the manual does not specify what 6 digit code must be entered to specify the fuser counter (000-000).

Further, the manual states that there is a programming command that can be sent to the printer as another way to reset the fuser counter. Again, Great! Except that the manual does not specify the syntax of the command, or provide any other information, other than that there is a command.

Any Okidata techs out there know the 6 digit code, or the programming language to reset the fuser counter? Either one will do. Thanks in advance. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I haven't tried it yet, but this was posted on fixyourownprinter.com by mmaeso:

Reset the Fuser Count Meter counter on the B6200/B6300 printer, after receiving a [Replace Fuser E] or [FUSER WARNING COUNT RESET] message on the printer operator panel.

Use the following procedure to reset the counter, after replacing the fuser assembly:

    Action:
Power on and wait until the ready to print message appears on the operator panel.
Press "Select and the Down arrow button at the same time"
The following Menu is displayed"Reset Counter Fuser U4"
    Press the right arrow button
Operator Panel will display "Fuser U4 Use the SEL to Reset"
    Press the SELECT Button
    Operator Panel will read "Clearing"
Press the Menu key to return to "Ready to Print Mode"

    Done

I'll confirm weather this works Monday. =^..^=
