    DP-6010 = My largest paperweight

Im working on a DP-6010 right now and am having a few issues. First, after a few jams it showed the E04-02 code.

I looked around and found how to get rid of it. That was easy.

But now, I keep getting the same jam and Im just not sure what to do. The paper is getting crumpled up when it exits the machine and tries to feed into the sorter attachment. It only stick out from the machine about an inch before it stops.

I'm a small business owner and dont have the money to hire someone to come out an fix it...plus its more fun to try and fix it myself.

So, I would appreciate any input, suggestions, or help from this community. Thanks a lot!

I would highly recommend contacting a reliable service provider for this issue. I understand your wanting to fix it yourself, but alot of times owners end up making the problem worse or causing other problems resulting in an even more expensive service call. With that being said, a few things could be wrong. Missing spring for the exit sensor, dirty finisher guide, finisher height adjustment, etc. The E4-02 code was because of consecutive fuser jams.

What jam code are you getting? Try running the machine without the finisher, and see if it works. Could be ink build up on the fuser entrance guide also.
