I am having a problem with a Panasonic DP-C262 with E4-14 code, the fans are comming on and staying on. Has anyone seen this problem and is it something I'm missing..
I face an E4-14 problem some time and I finaly replaced the fuser fan. The fan was working properly but I think that maybe it didn't take as many turns as it should, so the error code appeared.
I've seen this code before on a Rainbow2. Cleaning the dust bunnies out of the squirrel cage helps, but did not completely prevent the codes. Replacing the fan did the trick. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
There is a service bulletin about this. replace the toner motor fan and the IH fan with the new style. Its a weak solder joint that is the problem on one of the resistors.
Once you replace both of these fans with the new style fan, this error code shouldn't come back.
The fan I installed in a DP-C354 has begun to pull errors again. I installed (L6FCLDCJ0001). Is this old style or new?
A google search brought up (L6FAKEDK0007). Again, old style or new? =^..^=

Thanks onetek. That was awfully nice of Panasonic to let me help them clear out the old defective stock from their shelves.
I'll get it ordered right away. =^..^=
