    [Electrical] fuser lamp testing

    How do I test a fuser lamp on a DP1820 ?
Have an E4-01, lamp or thermistor

Probably thermistor and/or the UFR has a layer of scum on it and needs to be replaced also. You can meter the lamp when it's out of the machine.

If you cheat the door interlock you should be able to see the lamps illuminate. It is most likely the thermistor. I have seen very few bad lamps on these.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

Also, check to see any build up toner on the thermistor, make sure the thermistor is touching the hot roller. You can also measure the resistance of the thermistor. It is about 1.47 M ohms in normal condition.
