    2310 fuser web advancing issue

Hey, it's me again. I'm having trouble getting the webs to advance properly on some 2310 fuser units. I can't seem to get the tension right on the metal "actuator" as the service manual calls it. I believe there was a bulletin released related to this issue and I was hoping somebody could provide me with it. If I'm mistaken about the bulletin, then any advice you may have is appreciated as well.

    Thanks!

It is bulletin M-0180i. Email me if you can't get it and I'll send you a copy.

You may want to look into shanging over to the web advance drive used in the latest model of that series DP-8025/8032. There are too many variables with the original system, even with the bulletins changes it is stell prone to failure without unit specific adjusting/modifying to get to work. The new drive advancement makes use of a one way bearing instead of the metal spring tab ratcheting on a gear. I know a fuser from a DP-8025 will work in a DP-3030, but I have not yet tried intermingling the individual parts of the new and old model #'s but I think it will work.

Waylon do you have a parts manual per chance? I only have up to 2330/3030, thats when we dropped the panasonic line.
