    sleeved roller

I noticed that the lower sleeved roller of my 7718 is wrinkled and ripped on the side , and it kinda catches and jams the paper that passes, i usually just replace this roller , but i tried to experiment it and removed the plastic, loosen the spring and i notice that it works as well, anyone of you tried this? will this rubber without the plastic last?

    No....

It won't last. It'll be black with toner, and jamming before long.

When the sleeved rollers first came out it was fairly common for the Teflon sleeve to crawl off one end of the pressure roller. Not having one of those rollers handy, I clipped away the Teflon without nicking the rubber. It lasted maybe a week.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
