    Workio 4510

Hey Panasonic guys, I have a Workio 4510 that jams as a copy comes out and reaches the finisher. Its as if the bar that receives the paper from the copier into the finisher is bent, since the paper stops right there. When making a copy from the platen glass, there is no jam, the copies make it to the finisher perfectly since the copy comes out straight face up, but when making a copy from the ADF it jam just as it goes into the finisher since the copy comes face down until the finisher, when using the 8.5x11 and 11x8.5 paper sizes. You guys that work in Panasonics might be able to tell me how to fix the problem.

Please don't tell me to buy a manual since I already have the service manual.

The inverter has a set of rollers that need to be cleaned periodically they are on the main body of the machine just below the exit. Two screws hold on the plastic cover and another two screws hold on the unit. Clean with blanket wash or wd40. You also want to check and make sure the springs in the unit are on it ok. But usually cleaning g those rollers takes care of it. As well as the newer ones as well the 20 series and 30 series.

what code ? if the inverter on this box is sticking (J50) on exit side of copier are 3 actuators these get paper lint ,toner dust etc in them causing them to stick clean 2 on frame w/air gently,( you may blow spring off) ! 1 in inverter rollers ,make sure both springs are on ends . remove cover 2 screws remove plate actuater on this unit. I use wd40 then air to clean. good luck !!

Check your exit solenoid/baffle at the fuser exit. In service mode F4, 104 and 105 activate that solenoid. If you hear hesitation or double clicking, that solenoid is most likely bad. Also check that the limiter clips have not formed a groove on the exit door, causing it to stick. Check that the metal fuser hold clip is in front of the fuser, not sitting inside.
