[Dead] C406 Control Panel Dead

Hello everyone, have a issue with a Panasonic DP-C406, customer stated the machine is dead, the control panel does not seem to be working. I went out to complete a service call. The backlight on the Control Panel seems to be the only thing working, everything else is blank and doesn't respond or make a noise. It won't receive faxes, prints, or do anything.

I did swap out the control panel for another one on a working DP-C406 in the office but the same issue persists. I come from a Konica Minolta background on repairing copiers so any help would be appreciated.

Try disconnecting hard drive.

Hard drive disconnected. Same issue. Just a blank lit control panel. Replaced hard drive with a new one. Same thing.

On CN58 pin #3 reads 3.46v not the suggested +5vdc would that be my issues with the SC PCB ?

Did you try starting with all options off?

Tried that the same thing. Thinking about the SC PCB replacement with another machine we have in the service. Would you advise anything else before I deploy that option.

Its easy to swap, so give it a try.

Replaced the SC PCB and its fixed, only issue i had was the settings in the machine we different. Took me forever to figure out how to remove the DEPT ID Code on the copier. Finally got it, thankfully the touchscreen works and issue is resolved (for now) .
