    Ricoh 1515MF

I have a Ricoh 1515 that is working perfect but is displaying message to replace the photoconductor. Is there a way to reset this message without actually replacing the unit ?

Isn't it enough to reset the PM counter?

Try SP 5-912. Change the setting to 1 to disable the change PCU prompt from showing up. Essentially it turns off the alarm clock...

              /hi,
Go into SP mode and go to sp5912-1 "alarm display on/off"
enter 1 = do not display
              enter 0 = display
that will keep it off permanently unless somebody changes it back

if you just want to rest it and still prompt later when pcu needs replacing use sp7804-1 "reset pm counter" or 7992-4 "reset dev counter" can't remember which one did it.
