Hi, guys. Can anyone direct me to a list of model numbers to model names like, apollan, martini, metis etc. Thanks, Mika. Btw, whoever decided to go from a perfectly good drawn parts catalog to a 3D pos needs to die. Pretty much. Just sayin.

Naturally, I couldn't make up my mind what the best format would be. So I have files in Excel 2003, Textpad, and PDF. Personally I tend to use the Excel files because they are so easy to edit and organize. If size is a factor, the Textpad file is the smallest.
If I recollect correctly this is the Excel file, since it requires zipping to upload.
To anyone reading this post, please inform me of any identified mistakes, misspellings, and missed entries. All my files are works-in-progress, and being edited frequently to improve each day. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

The names like apollan, martini, metis, etc were originally engineering code names intended to keep competitors from knowing exactly what they are developing.Comment

My wife works for a manufacturing company in new product design. When she first took the position, it was always strange hearing her talk about all of these codenamed products. Even better was when we would see one in stores and she'd be able to say what the original code name was so I'd know what they had been talking about for months beforehand.
For myself, I can remember playing with early builds of Vista that still had the Longhorn code name.Comment

Diana is named after Princess Diana, I was told on a course in Wellingborough that when the first one rolled out it had a picture of her in the plastic square on the front door.Comment
