I see the fusing sleeve assembly replacement comes with a "fusing reset fuse" in the manual i cannot find this anywhere
can some one explain to me where it goes on the fuser? I see in the man if you dont run 3902-18 and 3902-19 basically it says "the machine will not recover" I guess the mean SOL
Is the fuse necessary? if so where does it go? and why is it not mentioned in the SM? (cuz ricoh dont want you to know,right?)

That fuse is only needed to reset over heat error SC554 after fitting the fuse you then you can reset the error with SP5810-002

The fuse fits above the rear connection, you'll see a spare white 2 pin connector.

Thank you, im getting resdy to re build a fuser that didnt even last 145k... ive heard these fusers dont meet the 250-300k mark... oh for the good old fusers...solid aluminum heat roller, hard as nails pressure roller....
going the distance!

There is now an improved fuser sleeve for these 02 series so far they are hitting PM life, also helps replacing the stripper plate at the same time, toner builds up on this & damages the sleeve.

I have become less and less impressed with Ricoh's newer MFP's...especially the color machines! They have become less robust as far as wear goes. Also when I was text chatting with Ricoh online I made a mention that the Fuser Stripper Plate SHOULD be a regular part in the fuser rebuild kits!...that's pretty much a "no brainer"!!!
