Hello fellas. Long time no see.
I'm like that jackass friend everyone has who never calls but suddenly pops up when needing help.
I'm having this problem on a 901, that I can't find out what's causing it.

The defect happens after the leading edge enters the fuser but the area afected is not fused yet (the small interval at the left of the paper before the defect matches the distance between the fusing belt and the cooling belt).
It seems that the paper is being wrinkled just as it enters the fusing unit, but no amount of playing with the entrance guide, fuser nip or fuser speed makes any difference.
All parts except for the fusing belt are well below PM. I'm about to order the belt, but I'm still not convinced that it's causing this.
Some more examples:

Example just as the paper enters the fusing unit - the left side is fused, the right side is not. No defect to be seen.
2.jpg
Example 3/4 into the fusing unit. Defect is visible.
3.jpg
Close-up of the secondf example. Notice as the defect happens right after the paper enters the fuser, as if it was being wrinkled.
Anyone ever got one of these?
Thank you!
