[Misc] Ricoh MP-C3300 not detecting ethernet

Hi everyone.

I have a RICOH MP-C3300 with this problem...............the green led on ethernet connection never gets lid.
I can program every setting (IPv4, Subnet, Gateway, DNS, SMTP, etc) and i can access the machine via WIM and can change every option but when i try to install the machine on a PC or Mac, the PC does not detect the port and dont install the machine (i hace a postscrip 3 option on the machine also).

Any ideas?????

Is 802.1x enabled? If so disable it.

Then power the MFD Off, then back On.

When you are installing the print driver, uncheck the Query the printer box, then enter the IP address of the printer.

I have found with Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 and I think maybe with 7 that you do not want to let the add print wizard auto detect anything. On the first add printer screen, "The printer I want isn't listed" even if it is. On the next screen select "Add a local or network printer with manual settings."

I had a similar issue on a mettis- turned out to be a bent pin on the port. Hooked up a laptop and you could access WIM but still wouldn't print?

if you can print via usb
then i agree with banginbishop most likely a bent pin in ethernet port had it several times before
as the port is soldered onto the controller it is a pain to replace
an alternative to replacing the controller is to fit the optional gigabyte ethernet card used when fitting the e-3100 fiery

Was this machine new? If not did it work before?

Have you tested the machine with a cross-over cable to a working laptop/pc?

Have you flushed all the settings back to factory and started from scratch?

Make sure IP Sec is inactive.

I had that exact problem a few years ago, I think it was a C301 at the time.

Drove me nuts until we found it.

I had that problem last week, the IP was set to 192.168.1.201, but when I printed the config sheet, the IP showed as 11.22.33.44, everything else was 0.0.0.0, found the answer in goose guide. I left the Product Family on "all" and searched the Problem Desc
for

IP ADDRESS SHOWING ON CONFIG PAGE AS 11.22.33.44
