As far as cost goes, the price of the Ricoh wireless card is negligible over the term of most leases.

I think we are all trying to say that we have had some baaaaaad experiences with the option.

Another point: If you are using @Remote to generate service calls, you can almost count on the crazy thing creating calls for you when it goes offline then comes back up.

The SOP wifi can be used for printing and connectivity! You set up the MFP like this: User tools > Screen features > Wifi on and connect to your preferred network. User tools > Interface settings > Wifi connection Now the WIM will be accessible on http::53080, and prints will work on the "normal" port tcp/ip raw 9100. Admittedly there is a downside to this, which I haven't found the answer to yet: Once the SOP enters sleep mode, the connectivity is lost! If anyone knows how to keep the wifi connection alive in sleep mode, do let us know. Also, the set up in Machine settings > System settings > Interface settings >Machine IPv4 adress does not come in to play when SOP wifi is used!

Thanks for the info. I see there is a recent SOP fw release for not waking from sleep when wifi is enabled!

              Hello!

When I saw this post I went to laboratory tests and could successfully print to a SOP equipment using the wifi of the operating panel. However I am trying to replicate this again and it does not work... I know that I am performing the same settings like befour. I even can not open WIM using :53080!!!!

Any of you know of any changes to prevent this mode of operation?

( I am performing this in a MPc306 with all firmwares up to date)
