Though I'm glad you were kind enough and able to help me, I can understand the argument from the others. The code you give freely here renders all security on Ricoh copier basically useless ( except there will be a trace that the reset took place). It wouldn't have bothered me to ask by PM ( but maybe receiving dozens of PM is not something you want, I can understand that.)
You're welcome, that kind of info on this site has helped me out many times, that is why I provide it to help others like yourself.
If Ricoh were to change the SP log in i'd like to think it would get posted on here anyway!

      Reset, 1,4,3 press C then hold C

Once in special SP mode, go to SP direct 5-846-046

This will rest the Admin password to default (admin & password blank)
it will however clear the address book, if you need this information back it up first in SP mode SP5-846-051 put your SD card in slot 2 (service slot)

      EDITED NOW CORRECT!

It is differant on the older Ricoh's
        Try Yellow,1,4,3 hold stop (orrange/red)
or yellow, 1,4,3 press stop once then hold.

Ricoh will not change a major SP mode just because it is posted on this little site, infact it would be better as if Ricoh do frequently change it then only us certified technicians would know it!

So if reading this is any techs needing firmware just put a request on here i'll be glad to help
Just for your information, this is not a little site. It is perhaps the single largest site of its type. Ricoh has already changed thing having to do with SP modes because too many unqualified individuals have discovered how to gain access to them. I take it that since you are not worried about your job that you most likely work for a dealer and not a branch. If so, I hope that your boss is not worried about losing his authorized agreement with Ricoh.

Hello, I solved it with 143 clear and 5846 as said the post. But i tried before the NVram method, With 5824 i Uploadd the nvram file at sdcard slot 2, from a copier that has admin and password that i know. But, when I tried to download the nvram to machine with 5825, that said: Failed. Why?
