When I instruct WAY out of town customer to enter SP mode over the phone this is what comes up and will not go any further into SP mode after they touch copy SP. (See attacted) Door switches, BCU? I'm sure someone has seen this but I can't remember what the cause is! Thanks!

A reboot alone may help, but there may be something in the print que?
Try rebooting system with network cable removed.Comment

I had him disconnect network cable first thing. Zed, I think you may be correct because he updated his computer to windows 10 and was complaining about not being able to scan anymore (gee I wonder why!). This is not my regular customer so I don't know what firmware version he has but I will suggest that he have it done before anything else. Thanks guys!Comment

Re: Screen not going into SP mode properly with SC552!
Turn the machine completely off. Disconnect the network cable. Open the front door and turn the machine on. Leave the door open until SP mode has been entered. Wait until after all functions have loaded (FAX, Printer, Scanner). If JAVA is installed, wait an additional 5 minutes for JAVA to finish loading.
One thing to do when telling customers how to clear fusing unit SC codes is to tell them if the code returns then there is a hard failure. Tell them to never clear a fusing code more than once every 30 minutes. Otherwise you are going to end up with melted fusing unit components.Comment
