Yes it is old. Sorry i lose my account from ricoh now 3 years ago when i start to work with toshiba, hp, lexmark,brother.

The MP C305 is still a good model & only recently discontinued.

Btw: for activating Airprint you need four firmwares: System/copy, printer, network support, pdf

Hello, is there anyone willing to share a firmware for this machine with another guy? I'm hoping it will fix my scan to net issues with the latest SMB protocol.

Have a problem starting up the Ricoh mp C305.
Tried to update the firmware remotely using Web Image Monitor.

It's partially failed and now displaying the following message:

Waiting for firmware update data...
IPV4 address: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Please wait.

I cannot enter SP mode. Nothings works. Can ping the device Ok.

Anyone can advise if there is any methods to recover the device?

Can you access the WIM again? If not you might try and run the SD card method or Ricoh Update Tool (wich would probably not work in this case).

Once you see the error messagt you try type "Yellow key-1-4-3-C-C-C" to abort a firmware update error/resume (won't work in all cases)

or <reset> <1> <4> <3> <C> <C> <C> <C> <C> you should hear the "beep" sound, confirms that fw update has been canceled. Then reboot machine, you should be able to get it running to HOME screen

I think you're right - not shure why I came around with 3 times "c" - does it even do anything?
