Verify the toner bottle is turning through sp5804. Remove the toner bottle holder and remove the center section where the opening of the bottle goes. There should be four (4) mylars that push the toner out into the developer. If they are intact, make sure the small slit that the toner exits through is not clogged or blocked.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.

like what Sir Cobiray said.... check the toner Motor... the toner path perhaps clagging may seem to be occured.... from toner hopper to development unit.....
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

Not heard of it causing toner end but have you checked the filters in the dev unit toner hopper? Seen those clog up on 1045 and 2045s so the fine mesh does not allow enough toner though.

Check dev unit augur , these seize up.

Also on this type of machine the interlock switches can fail very easily.

            Good luck

                Toner Problem

Make sure you have E (e) toner. The 45 and the 45e don't use the same toner, like in the old days. It's a common problem with warehouse sending out the wrong toner. Good luck

Lanier did some funny things with their part numbers for toner. Otherwise, the toner for the 2045 and 2045e are the same for the Ricoh and Gestetner models.

The toner supply unit has "paddles" inside made of mylar that come off causing "clogs". You can either replace just the "head" containing the paddles, or the entire unit (cost not too much). It is a common problem with these machines.

Check the switches up in top right side of the front panel. If they are coated in toner they can cause all kinds of strange errors, including a false add toner.
If those are still good, if you have the birth certificate for the machine clear the engine portion ofthe NVRAM with SP 5-801-002. You will have to re-enter all of the settings on the birth certificate, but the machine will probably come back up to normal afterwards.
I had a 1035 I had to do this with as everything else checked out okay...

                        May be wrong toner.

I know for a fact that Gest 735 and Gest 745e toner are different. the toner for Gest 635 and 745e could be the same. If toner is correct then it has to be bad developer, ID sensor, paddle wheels off, toner add motor or one of the answers given above.

I don't know what a Gest 745e is. I can find no reference to that model. Besides, the Gest 7x5 are not related to the Ricoh 2035/2045 nor 2035e/2045e. They are the next generation models, ie; 3035/3045. But, even so, the Gest 735/745 and Ricoh 3035/3045 still use the same toner as the earlier model.

What is the Bxxx number of this Gest 745e?

Maybe this will clear up some confusion.....
