MPC 3502 wont line adjust,acc all over the place,tried new belt,complete transfer unit.itb motor,IOB,still the same,swopped over pcu's from good copier-still wont adjust,turned off process control-still the same-any ideas?

There may be something going on with the laser or the values for the laser may be out of whack.Comment

The few times I've had this issue on other models (haven't needed it on an 02 yet), I've always had success when I run what I call the "advanced line adjustment". I was given these extra steps a few years back on this site when I had the same problem as you describe.

***Resetting ACC is that the calibration is written on top of the last calibration over and over. Therefore it becomes corrupt at some point, so the factory recall sets it back to default so you get a fresh start.
- ACC Recall SP5-610-4
- ACC Recall SP1-101-1 in Printer SP
- Process Control SP3-011-1
- Process Control Result SP3-012 -> 11111111 (Eg: 11(Y)11(C)11(M)11(K)
Note: * Anything other than ‘11’ indicates a problem

I don't work on anything that new, but that sounds a lot like someone did an all memory clear.
At least that's almost exactly what happened when I committed that idiot maneuver the first and only time back in the day.
As I'm not sure, I'll let the people more familiar with that model tell you whether this could be the case, and what to do about it.
