    [CQ] Ricoh MPC5503 Cyan Developer

Hi guys, I've got a MPC5503 which has white lines on the mag roller caused by hard toner/Dev lumps in the Dev tank.

Can I get the developer separate or do I have to replace the cyan developer unit?

    It's only done 90k colour

    Re: Ricoh MPC5503 Cyan Developer

This is quite a common issue. No need to replace the dev unit, just split the PCDU then either turn the dev roller backwards, or as I prefer fold a piece of paper & run it under the doc blade towards the front or rear while turning the dev roller the correct way, this will remove the lumps & push them to the end.

After you have done rotate the dev unit & check the deletion doesn't return.

The official Ricoh method is to rotate the unit backwards.
