    MPC3000 sc 565

    Code

    565
    Description

Heating lamp consecutive full power 3
When the fusing unit is not running in the ready condition, the pressure roller-fusing lamp keeps ON full power for 120 seconds or more.

I have replaced the fuser with another one and it still throws this code the lamp is not broken, any suggestions?

    Replace the PSU.

Had this just a couple of weeks back, and a PSU resolved it, after fuser replacement didn't

If PSU does not correct it, check harness from the PSU to the fusing unit. Also check the machine side connector for a bad pin. I had a Pro 1107EX where the tab on the connector that held the contact pin in place had broken and when the fusing unit was inserted, the pin pushed back in the connector and did not make proper connection.

Thermal fuse under the pressure roller (there are two together) one was popped one was not, hmmmm so far this has settled it, we will see after today , but so far it would seem to have been the problem....

In your initial post you said that you had replaced the entire fuser without success

Most likely did not replace with a new fusing unit.

The thermopile can also cause this issue.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                  Hit it.

With an open pressure end end thermofuse/thermostat, the machine will power up fine as the pressure roller end needs only come up to 50C to come ready. Enough heat will reach the pressure roller end thermistor from the hot roller and the pressure center to reach that. It will code during long copy/print runs as the temperature will start to fade. After replacing anything on a fusing unit, I always turn power on with the door(s) open. I can then enter SP mode and monitor fusing temperatures as it heats. If either pressure reading is slower coming up than the other readings, a fuse/thermostat is open or a lamp is bad.
