Make sure the toner is making it into the development unit. Just had to swap development units on a 4002 because the machine snapped the drive gear off the development mixing augur. No toner in, no toner out!

Make sure you haven't left any caps from the old toner bottle inside the machine, and check that the toner hopper handle hasn't broken or come loose.

Otherwise, you will be looking at a new dev unit and fresh dev.

Are you a tech or an end user?
I had one of these with the same fault a couple of weeks ago and it turned out to be the ID sensor.
Changed the sensor,added toner to the dev ,ran a few sky shots and they're back in business.
That was on an MP5002.
If it's one of the smaller B/W then +1 for what Ruben said.

You failed to supply the machine model. This is very important since the cure can vary by machine.

I had to edit my original solution for him coz I was totally calling end user....still my sneaking suspicion btw

+1 on the toner auger - similar symptom on an MPC recently - turned out to be toner auger broken clean off drive gear.

Same week I had a 2851 that had worn out the development roller gears so badly they wouldn't turn the gears on the development augurs. Same problem and same result, no toner in, no toner out.

this happens for Black and White MPFs,

the bottle chuck is closed that is why toner is not loaded on the development unit.
