The paper cling before arriving here probably you have something in the vertical transport what bend the corner of the paper.

2 things with the PTRs on those first is make sure its installed correctly, it should fit loosely into place not snug, if its snug then the mylar part is up over top of the bottom plastic and not down inside, these will clip into place even if the bottom edge is over top of the plastic. Secondly there is known issue with the mylar surface on them, it will crack in several spots and paper will catch on the mylar cracks and it will need replaced.

Looking at your picture it looks like you have not got the PTR fitted correctly, this is the one im working on now, see how it goes under the black guide.

          BIG thanks for the help.

Hi - your right the pic does show that the unit isnt seated correctly, the paper that is jammed in it pulled it out when I opened the door to check.

We have a mpc306 here that I did a visual comparison check with and all looked identical.

Hi - have just checked the Mylar and all looks good, no cracks and is not creaced.

Will try a new Mylar just in case there is something im missing.

When the paper jam happends it doesnt always have a dog ear. sometimes all the leading edge is jammed in the unit. no nics to indicate it had catched on something first.
I did a flow stop where I started the print and quickly opened the door to stop the machine. no indication of any interfierence with the leading edge passed the mylar.

Looks like the problem is found. A broken Image Transfer Belt, The left hand side has a clean break.

right side has the unbroken part
          bracket rh.jpg

strange how the broken part was not found? bet the customer jus binned it without telling me.

hope this is helpfull going forward if anybody else has a similar issue

That's interesting. That bracket looks to have a similar function to the D029 6318/6319 clips on the Apollon, camming the PTR into the correct position against the belt.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.
